A large selection of different metal cabinets at DIVIKOM
The metal lockers themselves are subdivided into individual categories that are directly related to their use. For example, we offer various locker cabinets with forced ventilation, which can also be equipped with benches. The steel locker with drawers, which is preferably used as a workshop locker, belongs to a completely different category. Our CNC cabinets and environmental cabinets are also used in factories and workshops. In administrations and offices, on the other hand, you can use universal steel cabinets for files and mobile pedestals for hanging files.
Steel as the ideal material for the cabinet
Although steel is one of the cheapest metal materials, it is also unrivalled in terms of its ease of processing and high stability. DIVIKOM only uses high-quality sheet metal. Despite relatively low wall thicknesses, maximum stability is achieved through triple edging and folding as well as double walls on the doors. There is only one restriction in the wide range of advantages of steel: the tendency to corrosion, which could limit the longevity. However, as the colouring, and therefore effective corrosion protection, is used as part of the design anyway, this aspect also fades into the background.
Colour scheme and design
From the very beginning, our company has pursued the goal of equipping all products with a design that meets the highest standards. In addition to a balanced and appealing design of the proportions, this includes in particular a value-enhancing treatment through appropriate colouring. Steel furniture with a high-quality and aesthetic appearance has an equally impressive and valuable effect on the expected public and employees. Employees can be expected to treat it with much more care. An attractive design also has a positive influence on the working atmosphere.
The colouring corresponds to the RAL colours and is applied using a proven powder coating process. Powder coatings are many times harder and thicker than wet coatings. The coating process takes place at temperatures just below 200 degrees Celsius. During the melting process, the colour forms a solid and inseparable bond with the steel. As the powder does not contain any solvents, it is also considerably more environmentally friendly. The surface is easy to clean, resistant to wear and scratching and impervious to cigarette burns. The high-quality and precise workmanship also contributes to the design.
Processing and precision
When you buy a steel cabinet with or without drawers, there are several aspects to consider in order to harmonise the ideal type, the ideal design and the individual function for you. However, only high-precision workmanship, in conjunction with equally precise assembly of the individual components, fully emphasises all the advantages of DIVIKOM products. Small gap dimensions and maximum repeat accuracy support the pleasant design, which is particularly effective in row configurations.
To ensure that you can still buy your steel cabinet at a favourable price, state-of-the-art production facilities and CNC machines ensure largely automated production. This also applies to the tried-and-tested spot welding process, with which all individual parts are joined precisely and without distortion. By simply reprogramming, we are therefore able to change over production in the shortest possible time or respond to your special designs.
Buy cheap metal cupboards for offices, practices and administration
DIVIKOM offers a selection of sturdy metal cabinets in various sizes and finishes. The high-quality powder coating is also used here, which you can select in RAL colours to match your furniture. This also applies to mobile pedestals and, of course, every steel cabinet is lockable.
Storage cupboards
Metal cabinets in different sizes are available in your dimensions File folders adapted. All shelves can also be adjusted in height in increments of 25 millimetres.
Suspension file cabinets
This type of cabinet makes optimum use of the interior space thanks to the suspended arrangement of the files. Pull-out file frames nevertheless ensure an excellent overview and quick access. The pull-outs glide like drawers on ball-bearing telescopic guides.
Mobile pedestals
Smooth-running castors allow these practical helpers to be moved quickly and easily. They can be easily placed next to or under the desk. The dimensions are adapted to the desk dimensions and provide space for plenty of hanging files. This means that documents are always to hand without having to leave your desk.
Buying steel cabinets for workshops and businesses
Metal cabinetsthat belong to the area of operating equipment are subject to the same quality criteria that apply as standard to all DIVIKOM products. The Steel cabinet with drawers is one of the most important items in this category. This is followed by compartment cabinets, special Environmental cabinets or tool cabinets for CNC cutting machines. Here too, every steel cabinet is lockable. Elegant design, high functionality and stability ensure a long service life.
Drawer cabinets
This sub-category includes cabinets with double doors and internal combinations with compartments, perforated panels and drawers as well as pure drawer cabinets without doors. The latter are fitted with a storage surface at the top, which has a border and a foam pad. All drawers are fitted with smooth-running ball-bearing telescopic runners that allow a pull-out of 80% or 100%. A continuous handle strip with labelling field is fitted at the front.
The drawers are available in several heights and can be combined within the height dimensions as required. The interior is fitted with a grid strip on the left and right, allowing any compartment size to be created. At the same time, it can be fitted with different plastic boxes for subdivision.
Mobile drawer cabinets are also manufactured.
CNC cabinets
These are special drawer cabinets for holding cutting tools such as drills, milling cutters and the like. Special seats have been developed to hold these sensitive tools, which are mounted on an inclined plate. The inclined position favours contact-free removal.
The entire unit can also be offered as a pull-out unit, like a drawer, with ball-bearing telescopic runners. In contrast to low cabinets, high cabinets have lockable doors. Low cabinets, on the other hand, have a shelf with a frame at the top. The drawers can still be locked.
Universal cabinets
The following are available as simple Universal cabinets available in three heights. The shelf spacing can be freely selected in a grid of 25 millimetres, whereby the shelves can withstand a load of 80 kg. Standard storage boxes, which can be lined up on the shelves, offer a further option. All cabinets have a three-point locking system with rotary handle and cylinder lock.
Environmental cabinets
Also known as chemical cabinets, they are used to store non-flammable chemical substances. As these mainly occur in liquid form, all shelves have a perforated surface with a 16 litre drip tray underneath. This protects the environment from leaking liquids and at the same time keeps the surfaces of the shelves dry.
