School lockers and their special requirements
Lockers for schools are characterised in particular by different heights that correspond to the respective sizes of the growing pupils. A cloakroom locker is also subject to similar requirements to those expected of lockers in other everyday use. However, children and adolescents, in their exuberance and thirst for action, often show little consideration for furnishings. Tough steel with a hard, scratch-resistant powder coating is therefore the right combination to counteract careless bumps and knocks. This applies primarily to doors, which are particularly vulnerable when open. With this in mind, we have therefore paid increased attention to the doors in the "School lockers" area in terms of safety and resistance.
Stable opening limiters play an important role here by preventing the door leaf from "overstretching", while still ensuring an opening of 100 degrees. Overstretching can shift the pivot point and prevent the door from closing partially or completely in the future. The 20 millimetre thick door leaves make a further contribution with their double-walled design, which results in a very torsion-resistant construction. Additional reinforced sheet metal can be used on request. All door stops are fitted with rubber dampers to prevent the not inconsiderable noise nuisance caused by heavy door slamming.

Workmanship and functions of the wardrobe for school
The entire cabinet is made of high-quality sheet steel. As with all car bodies, the body is spot-welded together to form a distortion-free and extremely stable construction.
As our products are manufactured exclusively on modern CNC machines and systems, you can be sure of the best possible quality in terms of accuracy of fit and clean processing. An advantage that also allows extremely small gap widths. The door leaves are flush with the carcase frame and the pivot bolts have been moved inwards so that nothing protrudes. All edges are machined without any sharp edges. The thick powder coating does the rest and also helps to minimise cut edges.
Of course, Schulspindler also has our natural ventilation system, which is based on energy-free air exchange through circulation between cold and warm air.
Structure and sizes
The external dimensions of the school lockers are available in heights of 1200 and 1500 millimetres. However, the standard height of 1800 millimetres is also available for pupils in the upper classes. The lockers measure 300 millimetres in width and 500 millimetres in depth.
In doing so, we can Cabinets in single, double and triple versions. In addition, all enclosures are provided with assembly openings on the sides and at the rear. This allows the stable creation of double rows, while at the same time allowing the cabinet rows to be of any length.
Lockers for schools have 40 millimetre high plinths, which can also be fitted with individual feet. Another variant is the base frames for drawers or benches with plastic seats, under which there is also plenty of storage space thanks to the corresponding drawers. As an option, all cabinets can be fitted with sloping roofs to prevent objects from being placed on top of the cabinets.
Inside the Cabinets A welded-in shelf provides secure storage for hats, gloves, scarves and the like. The clothes rail has three sliding hooks, while a further plastic hook is attached to the inside of the door.
Security and locking
On the subject of "Locker School", the security aspect is of particular importance. On the one hand, this concerns security in terms of handling and use, as well as the prevention of successful break-in attempts. The concealed pivot pins in the lockers and the double-walled door leaves with narrow gaps, which make it almost impossible to break open the lock, make a significant contribution to this.
In the standard version, lockers for schools are fitted with cylinder locks with two keys. Alternatively, they can also be fitted with rotary bolt locks for padlocks, as well as coin deposit locks and code or combination locks. Precautions have also been taken to minimise the risk of injury. All edges are designed with smooth triple edging and folds.
Design
Students also treat aesthetic objects with greater consideration. The resistant powder coating for the body is finished in light grey RAL5012. The doors, on the other hand, can be supplied in light blue or in the colours of your choice.
