General description of our roll containers

Roll containers usually have two fixed castors and two swivel castors, which means that they are easy to manoeuvre even when fully loaded in the tightest of spaces.

In order to minimise the space required for the return transport of the empty containers and their subsequent interim storage, two space-saving basic versions were developed - known as the "demountable" and "nestable" versions.

Material

All roller containers are made of robust steel profiles. Steel is one of the most durable and robust materials when it comes to highly rational processing.

Steel is also known for its dimensional stability and impact resistance. An important aspect that is a decisive advantage in rough shipping operations. However, should something break over the years, the problem can be quickly rectified with a few welded seams. All elements are provided with a protective galvanised coating. The smooth surface of the zinc coating is dirt-repellent and provides reliable corrosion protection for decades.

Plastic versions are also available for intermediate floors and floor panels.

Types of mesh trolleys

Dismountable roll containers:

Roll container can be dismantled on two sides

This version has two side panels and is ideal for packaged goods in larger units, such as cartons. The side walls can be easily inserted into two holders on each side. The packaged goods are stabilised and secured later with an elastic tensioning strap. The frame of the side walls is made of round tubing and has a radius on the upper sides. The inner surface is fitted with a grid of welded flat profiles.

The base, with the fixed and swivel castors, was also welded together from steel profiles. For the return transport of the empty containers, the side walls are removed and stacked together with the base.

Mesh trolley can be dismantled on four sides

These roll containers with four side walls are specially designed for small parts, "loose goods" or relatively small packaging units. The side panels are secured with special clips. As with the double-sided containers, the side walls can simply be pulled out and stacked for return transport. Incidentally, you will find the same structure here as with the double-sided model.

Nestable roll containers:

These roll containers are not dismantled for return transport or interim storage, but are pushed together to form "nests". Although they require a little more space, they are quickly available again for order picking.

The model mentioned here has two side walls, but these are permanently installed, as the A-shaped base frames can be pushed into each other when the floor is folded up. The load is also secured here with elastic tension belts.

Roll container nestable, four-sided Z-frame

Z-base frames are welded in a Z-shape and interlock when the base is folded up so that they can be pushed together to form a "nest". All four side sections are secured with clips. One side can be opened like a door for filling. Several intermediate shelves can also be inserted. Plug-in crossbars are available for stabilising the upper section.

In addition to their "nestability", these containers are also considered theft-proof, as all four sides are fitted with a fine-mesh grille. Access from above is also prevented by means of a closing ceiling grid plate. The same principle applies to the hinged cover of the lower frame, to which the fixed and swivel castors are attached.
