Metal workshop drawer container for universal use

The requirements for day-to-day operations in schools, training workshops and craft businesses are usually far removed from maximum requirements. Our range of drawer containers fulfils these requirements and has been specially developed for these purposes. In terms of load capacity, you can choose from a range between 200 and 600 kg. Nevertheless, like all metal drawer cabinets, these models are also made of sturdy, high-quality sheet steel. You can put together your very own customised workshop drawer cabinet thanks to a large number of alternative variation options. This also applies to different heights.

The division of the individual drawer heights is also variable and available in five height dimensions in a 45 millimetre grid. The lowest height is suitable for very small parts such as drills or milling cutters as well as for flat tools such as gauges and scales. The high version is reserved for bulky tools and fixtures.

To ensure that individual parts or tool types are stored in an organised and clearly arranged manner, the drawer bottoms can be fitted with dividers. Grid strips with a 17 millimetre pitch are used for stable fastening. Tray inserts can be used for better removal of the smallest parts.

Sensitive measuring tools or parts with delicate surfaces are particularly well accommodated in foam mats with moulded cut-outs. Insert boxes made of frost-resistant polypropylene are also very practical. This plastic is frost-resistant and the individual boxes can be easily removed to take out the contents.

In addition, the contents of a drawer should also be visible before it is opened. The aluminium handle strip, which is fitted across the entire width, has a labelling field for this purpose, which is covered with a removable transparent hard film. The drawers, which have a load capacity of 40 kg, are held in place by ball-bearing telescopic runners that allow the drawers to be pulled out 100%imes as far as they will go, giving free access to all compartments and their contents.

The "UNI" workshop container also protects its contents with a central locking system using a cylinder lock fitted with two keys. This is supported by the precision fit and repeatability of the individual body parts, which ensures extremely small gaps. Lifting tools don't stand a chance here.
