Quality and material for metal drawer cabinet

Since the beginning of the last century, sheet steel has finally established itself as the ideal material for housings, car bodies and factory equipment. Steel is a very inexpensive metal and yet no other material can offer similar stability and durability with such low material input. This is complemented by excellent behaviour during processing and welding.
DIVIKOM therefore relies on high-quality sheet steel in order to be able to work with extremely low tolerances during production.

Whether "drawer cabinet tool cabinet" or "drawer cabinet industry", the high resistance of the cabinet body made of sheet steel is manufactured to meet the highest requirements of all areas. However, as maximum loads are not always required, we offer two versions, which are divided into two category fields, "PROFI" and "UNI".

PROFI drawer cabinet

In order to meet even the highest demands as an industrial drawer cabinet, this version was specially developed for the highest loads, up to 800 kg.
In addition to a wide range of equipment variants, you have the choice between several heights and widths. You have the option of configuring the perfect drawer cabinet for your individual purposes as a tool cabinet or parts cabinet. This also applies to the selection of drawer divisions and their heights, which are variable in a grid of 44.45 millimetres. There are three height dimensions to choose from, which are sufficiently dimensioned to accommodate everything from the smallest parts and tools to bulky aids and equipment.

All drawers have a grid strip on both sides that allows dividers to be inserted at intervals of 17 millimetres. Recessed inserts of various sizes can be placed in the gaps, making it easier to grip the smallest tools such as drills or parts such as small washers and screws.

Another option is to use boxes made of frost-resistant polypropylene plastic, which are available in many sizes and different colours. Moulded foam inserts are particularly suitable for safe and non-slip storage of tools. Also highly recommended for sensitive measuring tools or parts with delicate surfaces.

And to ensure that the contents of the drawers are always immediately visible from the outside, the aluminium handle rail has a labelling field covered with transparent hard film. The handle rail extends across the entire width of the drawer.

All drawers are guided on two ball bearing telescopic runners, which allow an extension of 100 % and of course have an end stop. This means you always have a full overview of the contents and can easily remove the required parts without having to worry about the drawer falling down or parts getting mixed up due to the inclination of the drawer surface. Even when pulled out, the drawers can withstand a load of 50 kg.

Everything can be locked via a central locking system operated by a cylinder lock. Two keys are always included as standard. But it is not only the secure locking system and the sturdy steel body that protect the contents of the "PROFI" drawer cabinet from unauthorised access; the small and repeatable gap between the frame and drawers also prevents any attempt to open it by force. A fact that also decisively supports the overall design.

UNI" metal workshop drawer cabinet for universal use

The requirements for day-to-day operations in schools, training workshops and craft businesses are usually far removed from maximum requirements. Our range of workshop drawer cabinets meets these requirements and has been specially designed for these applications. In terms of load capacity, you can choose from a range between 200 and 600 kg. Nevertheless, like all metal drawer cabinets, these models are also made of sturdy, high-quality sheet steel. Thanks to a large number of alternative variation options, you can configure your very own customised workshop drawer cabinet. This also applies to different heights.

The divisions of the individual drawer heights are also variable and are available in five height dimensions in a grid of 44.45 millimetres. The lowest height is suitable for very small parts such as drills or milling cutters as well as flat tools such as gauges and scales. The high version is reserved for bulky tools and devices.

The bases of the drawers can be fitted with dividers to ensure that individual parts or tool types are stored neatly and tidily. Raster strips with a 17 millimetre pitch are used for stable fastening. Tray inserts can be used to make it easier to remove the smallest parts.
Sensitive measuring tools or parts with delicate surfaces are particularly well accommodated in foam mats with moulded cut-outs. Insert boxes made of frost-resistant polypropylene are also very practical. This plastic is frost-resistant and the individual boxes can be easily removed to take out the contents.

However, the contents of a drawer should also be recognisable before it is opened. The full-width aluminium handle strip has a labelling field for this purpose, which is covered with removable transparent hard film. The drawers, which have a load capacity of 40 kg, are held in place by ball-bearing telescopic runners that allow a 100 % extension up to the limit stop, allowing free access to all compartments and their contents.

The "UNI" workshop drawer cabinet also protects its contents with a central locking system using a cylinder lock equipped with two keys. This is supported by the fitting and repeat accuracy of the individual parts of the body, which ensures extremely small gaps. Lifting tools don't stand a chance here.

The mobile version of the drawer cabinets is equipped with a framed table top fitted with a protective mat. These drawer cabinets are mobile thanks to two fixed castors and two lockable swivel castors. Design and colour scheme

The powder coating process used here combines several advantages at the same time. When applied at almost 200 degrees Celsius, the colour powder forms a solid, inseparable bond with the steel during the melting process. This coating, which is several times thicker than a wet coating, not only provides excellent corrosion protection for decades, but also evens out any minor unevenness in the substrate. The surface is also extremely hard and scratch-resistant, making it ideal for the harsh conditions of everyday use.
