Professional workbenches as part of the workstation systems

When you buy a workbench, your first concern is usually stability. Stability is a prerequisite for effective work and a long service life. That is why our Work tables with a sturdy steel substructure which also offers robust resistance to high forces and continuous loads. The base frames are therefore made of robust steel profiles that can withstand considerable loads thanks to their balanced statics. In combination with a 40 millimetre thick and water-repellent laminated wood panel made of beech hardwood, up to 800 kg is no problem for these tables. Alternatively, multiplex boards, DTD-Lamino boards with ABS edging or special ESD boards are also available

A distinction is made between three main groups: professional system workbenches, the DPA series and "mobile workbenches":

Our solid professional system workbenches

They are designed for 800 kg surface pressure and therefore the highest load-bearing capacity level in trade and industry. Robust pallet consoles from the DPG series make it easier to move them quickly using industrial trucks, while solid base consoles ensure that the workbench is held securely in place when changes of location are not expected. These workbench versions also offer the ideal conditions for working with a vice. Shelf units in the centre with wear-resistant doors and drawer bases on the two outer sides are standard equipment. Alternatively, two shelf units can be fitted on the outside, with one drawer unit in the centre.

If requirements change, the fixtures can also be exchanged or added to. This means that the shelf section can then be replaced with a drawer section or vice versa. The drawer units have a central locking system and ball bearing telescopic runners. They can also be fitted with perforated panels at the rear, including tool trays or with a frame for workbench lighting and a power strip with media distributor. And of course, various RAL colours are also available in this case.

The mobile workbench

This is another practical variant in the system workbench category. Mobile workbench versions are the ideal solution for permanent workstation changes, as required in assembly and craft businesses, training workshops or in the service sector. The 40 millimetre thick beech wood top is even suitable for holding a vice.

With two fixed castors and two swivel castors, the trolley can be moved easily and effortlessly to its new place of use, even when the full load of 250 kg has been utilised. This easy handling is achieved by the generously dimensioned wheels, which are fitted with maintenance-free ball bearings.

The handle is installed on the swivel castor side and consists of an aluminium round tube with an ergonomically comfortable diameter. For safe steering, the handle covers the full width of the trolley. Each swivel castor has a parking brake to prevent the wheels from moving on their own.

The same version can also be used purely as a tool trolley. The base frame can be equipped with height-adjustable shelves and lockable flaps as well as drawer inserts. Of course, both can also be combined. The fittings can also be exchanged again for new work situations. These mobile workstations can also be fitted with power distributors with sockets and media distributors.

Buy a workbench from the DPA range

These sturdy worktables have a base frame made of U and C profiles. In combination with the 40 millimetre thick and waterproof beech wood top, surface loads of up to 500 kg are possible. All 4 table legs are fitted with a base plate that can be used to anchor the table to the floor. The base frames are given a standard powder coating in light grey, RAL 7035. Other RAL colours can be requested individually.

A prominent advantage of these tables is the alternative with height-adjustable table legs. The adjustment range is 455 millimetres. This means that the table top can be lowered to 660 millimetres or raised to 1015 millimetres. The fixed version has a constant tabletop height of 840 millimetres. Table lengths of 2000 and 1500 millimetres are also available. The tabletop depth is always 700 millimetres.

Alternatively, drawer units are available that can be fitted under the table top in single or double versions. The drawers have a load capacity of 40 kg and can be pulled out 80 %. The smooth-running telescopic ball guides keep the drawer in a horizontal position even when extended. For safe handling, each drawer is equipped with an aluminium handle strip, which also has a labelling field. And to make sure nothing gets lost, you can lock everything with a cylinder lock and central locking system.

Buy workbench with electric height adjustment

Always the right working height at the touch of a button. You can also use our ERGO ELEKTRO as a desk. Two table legs offset to the rear are anchored in two wide, horizontally arranged feet, which give the table a secure hold without compromising legroom when seated. This table series is also an ideal workstation for service work in the field of electronics and electrics, which has to be carried out alternately sitting and standing. Due to the different sizes of tall components, the table top can be lowered or raised, which is a great advantage both ergonomically and rationally.

Additional equipment with power strips and distribution system for 240 volts as well as media distributors can also be attached to this workbench system. As can support frames for perforated wall structures and workplace lighting. Antistatic table tops are also available for the electrical area. Of course, drawer units with one or two drawers can also be fitted underneath. Like all drawers, they are fitted with ball-bearing telescopic runners and cylinder locks. The load capacity is 40 kg.

Our drawer systems offer you an extensive range of different equipment options. You can choose between high versions, for large parts and tools, and flat versions, which are suitable for small and flat parts.

If you need to store parts with large dimensions, further subdivision is usually not necessary and the drawer can be used as it is offered in its basic state. However, the smaller and more delicate the stored goods are, the more differentiated the subdivisions need to be. For this purpose, the side walls have recesses that were installed to accommodate dividers. You can arrange the rails individually according to the grid.

Another alternative is plastic boxes in various sizes and shapes that fit perfectly into the shop floor. These also include trays for easier removal of drills or milling cutters, for example. Foam boards with moulded cut-outs for tools support quick access to various hand tools.
